The team covers both software and hardware issues. This includes advice to businesses on IT contracts and outsourcing agreements, as well as internal controls - such as email usage policies. For suppliers of software, hardware and integrated systems the team drafts terms of trading. Contentious IT issues are also handled by the team from licensing disputes, to problems arising with faulty software applications. Advice on IR35 is also provided and we have a detailed understanding of Data Protection legislation.

The team can also offer specialist advice relating to the Internet. Clients rely on the team to assist with domain name registration; Internet trade mark issues, including domain name disputes; web design and hosting agreements; and Internet law - including online contracts.
