The Banking and Finance Group at DMH Stallard is a multi-disciplinary team that works with national and international banks and businesses on a full range of banking and financial matters. Our clients include clearing and investment banks, quoted and private companies and multinational corporations.

When acting for banks and other lenders we are keenly aware that our lawyers are working daily with their customers. We understand how to manage the bank’s risk while retaining the goodwill of the customer relationship.

All the lawyers in our Banking and Finance Group deliver commercial advice and provide clear recommendations to our clients.

The areas covered by the specialists in our multi-disciplinary Group include:

  • Acquisition Finance – for banks, private companies and institutional investors on debt and security issues in relation to MBO/MBI/BIMBO, refinancing and restructuring, business start-ups and development capital transactions.
  • Corporate Banking – for lenders on corporate lending transactions and borrowers on funding arrangements.
  • Asset Finance – for asset-based lenders in relation to equipment, inventory, stock and receivables financing transactions.
  • Turnaround and Insolvency –for insolvency practitioners, banks and companies in respect of all aspects of corporate insolvency, rescues and reconstructions.
  • Property Finance – primarily for lenders in a wide range of industry sectors and with a range of property finance projects and bank security requirements across the lending spectrum.
